Repair Work
Whether it’s a potentially cafe-closing 5:00 AM emergency or just an annoying little leak you’ve been meaning to get fixed, I am there for you 24 hours a day. My normal service area is anywhere within approximately 3 hours drive from Missoula, including Helena, Bozeman, Great Falls, Butte, the Flathead Valley, the Bitterroot Valley and Northern Idaho. I can do most repair work at your location, but I also have high quality loaner equipment available if off-site repairs are necessary.
Equipment Consulting and Installation:
At this time I am not actively stocking new equipment. I provide consultation services to help you find the equipment that best meets your needs and your budget. Once we decide what will work best for you, I can find the best way for you to get it, whether that is through me or directly from the manufacturer or from an online seller. No matter where you get your new equipment, when it arrives I can make sure it is installed correctly in line with the manufacturer’s warranty requirements. Professional installation is important to making sure your equipment performs its best and provides many years of reliable service.
Preventative Maintenance:
Most espresso machine manufacturers recommend preventative maintenance be performed quarterly, along with more major semi-annual and annual maintenance. This is the ideal situation for assuring long life and reliable service from your equipment, but this is not a one-size-fits-all solution. I can work with you to come up with a maintenance plan that works for your specific needs and budget. If you are flexible about scheduling, I do not charge for travel for maintenance!
Water Filtration
The vast majority of coffee equipment breakdowns are caused in one way or another by water quality issues. This is especially true in Montana where our spectacularly scenic geology is unfortunately not so great for our coffee equipment. I can devise a water filtration plan that will minimize downtime and repair costs and preserve your equipment investment. I perform detailed coffee-focused water testing and have extensive experience with the unique challenges Montana’s various water sources present to coffee equipment.
